Fulfilling the Great Commission

3 Minute Introduction Video

Since the age of 8 I have had a heart for Africa. A team came to our church in South Carolina and told us stories of many miraculous healings and salvations. Several of those stories inspired and challenged me to be a part of what God is doing around the world.

I chased my dream of working in Africa until the age of 25 when the dream became reality. I was given the opportunity to move to Johannesburg, South Africa for a year long internship. During that time I learned many things including, "missions is not an activity on the field, it's a condition of the heart." This truth, modeled every day, led to a better understanding of the Great Commission and the discovery of my deep passion for evangelism.

At first, I was terrified of being out in the communities talking with people. Having never shared my faith or told anyone about Jesus, my uncertainty became a mountain of fear. However, I quickly realized just how simple it is to share one’s faith. The first time I was a part of leading someone to Christ gave me such joy! I couldn't just walk - I had to skip, jump, and run back to our bus! The advice of a dear friend was to never lose the joy that I felt in that moment. And every time I witness someone accepting the free gift of salvation, that joy remains. It is the most incredible miracle to behold!

I have completed 2 years of Seminary through Global University with the Assemblies of God and the requirements to become a licensed minister! With this training, I hope to better serve and encourage the church around the world.

God has begun to steer me in the exciting direction of Aviation! With His direction and incredible open doors, I have completed the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) requirements to become a certified Private Pilot. Yes, I LOVE to fly! In March of 2022, I received approval as an Assemblies of God Missionary Associate! My first 2 1/2 year term will be working with MMS Aviation in Coshocton, OH. MMS Aviation is an incredible ministry working to prepare people and airplanes for worldwide missionary service. While serving with MMS Aviation, I will be working side by side with licensed Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Mechanics to fix airplanes for missionary organizations worldwide! Since 1975, MMS has served over 110 missions organizations.

Below is the link to a short 2 minute video sharing why aviation is so important to fulfilling the Great Commission:

After completing these 2 years at MMS Aviation, I will be prepared to take the FAA testing to become a Licensed A&P mechanic. Once completed, I plan to move back to Africa full-time as a missionary to work in the wonderful world of Aviation! I would love to connect with you and share more about what the Lord is doing around the world!
